What sets Pardun Collections apart from other agencies and Law Offices?
Well, let us explain. We are not your average run-of-the-mill corporation. We have experience that other agencies and firms lack. Let me explain…a lot of corporations hire a collector/skip-tracer/recovery agent on an hourly wage, some with additional commission incentives. Most of these agencies have a high turnover rate due to inexperienced management, low hourly wages, commission and bonus structures that are hard to accomplish, high pressure environments, etc. In addition to that, the ones with the most experience don’t “get their hands dirty.” You got it…the managers don’t usually touch an account unless their workers ask for help. Even then, they may just offer some advice, or say that it is just uncollectible. Remember, you may pay that agency on a “no collect, no fee basis,” but the manager still makes his hourly regardless if he/she collects or not. Usually, managers make a commission or bonus from what the employees that they supervise accomplish, not for what they accomplish directly. Now you have someone that is inexperienced, or not very experienced, who may or may not care about his/her job and your account, and is now searching for your debtor. Do they really know how to find your debtor? Do they even care…I mean, they get paid an hourly regardless if they collect or not. What if they bonus structure is nearly impossible for them to reach? Now how interested are they in collecting your account? They may just be “doing time.” You know…getting a paycheck. Now let’s say that they happen to come across your debtor, because it was an easy find. Do they know what to say to get the debtor to pay? What if they don’t? Does the account go to another department where the “recovery agent” continues on? And what really does the “recovery agent” know about the account? Yeah, he/she can look at some notes, but are they really getting a feel for the debtor? I mean, the notes may not be all that efficient if the prior collector doesn’t care about his job. To add to that, does the “recovery agent” know what to file? How far can his/her limited experience take him/her? What about an attorney, you say? Attorneys are great for getting a judgment. After that, good luck. Unless you know how to collect and want to push them, they are not interested in doing the extra work necessary to enforce the judgment. Attorneys are in it for the settlement. Most civil cases end in a settlement before trial…I believe the number is around 96%. So, here is an attorney that has been fattened up with settlement cases and you want him to do some extra additional work that he is not paid extra to do, because he works on a contingency basis. How about that youngster who has not established himself as an attorney yet? He seems like a go-getter. Sure, but he lacks in experience. He may be able to settle a couple of cases, but law school does not teach you the experience necessary to handle difficult situations. Let’s face it, if this was easy, you would not be seeking help to collect. “Well, this attorney has a skip-tracer and a great staff.” I doubt that his “skip-tracer and great staff” make much or have much experience. If they had good experience, they would be a manager at one of the larger collection agencies (less work, better pay). I don’t mean to attack other agencies and attorneys. The truth is that some are pretty good, but how would you know? Unfortunately, you won’t until a while after you have hired them. Even then, it is tough to tell. Not every account is collectible.
We at Pardun Collections guarantee that everyone is involved with collecting your money. I personally handle the accounts that come through our office. I personally deal directly with the clients…no second hand information. I personally file documents. I have been in the business for over 10 years. I have done it all, retail, commercial, skip-tracing, recovery, attorney accounts, domestications, etc. I am an ABA Certified Paralegal. I personally review each account that we obtain to determine if it is collectible. I personally deal directly with our attorneys. My personal guarantee to you is that we, including me, will make a diligent effort to collect on your account(s). That includes the accounts that have to go to our attorneys.
Sincerely,
